What is Possible Value?

It is a no-nonsense, longform newsletter focused on finding, researching, learning and getting feedback about businesses with high returns on capital that may or may not be compounders. The purpose of my writeups is twofold. First, I want you, the reader, to learn something. Second, my purpose is to refine my craft in hopes of one day finding a great business to invest in. I’m doing what I can to live out Peter Lynch’s “The person that turns over the most rocks wins the game” quote. As stated on the introductory page, I’m starting with the A’s and going through the Z’s. I promise not to bombard you with weekly market commentary, new investment fads, etc. I will stick to research and interesting financial topics that I come across.
